| Description: | UNA-DYN has an opening for a full-time, experienced Cost Accounting Specialist . Supports the Accounts Department by maintaining the overall costing system related to material and labor. This role is responsible for daily activities related to cost accounting including analysis, reporting, participating in month/quarter/year end processes including journal entries, ledger balance review, various reconciliations, inventory and special projects.

| Duties: |
- Analyzes and costs manufacturing work orders following company's costing system;
- Prepares the monthly cost of sales figures by analyzing material, labor, and research and development expenses;
- Reviews and audits the costing system including costs for purchased material inventory;
- Prepares and reviews income/expense analysis;
- Analyzes variances from cost estimates and prepares reports for management and recommending changes in estimating processes;

| Qualifications: |
A bachelor's degree (B. A.) from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent in finance and/or accounting is necessary. Three to five years direct experience in cost accounting is also essential. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a definite plus. Applicants that do not meet these criteria will not be considered. |
